Americans Desperately Need Relief from Obamacare

 

Obamacare is a burden on working families and job creators all across this Nation. If we don't replace it, the calamity will only get worse. Americans desperately need relief. Congress needs to step up and do their job, by repealing and replacing Obamacare. The legislation working its way through Congress right now provides the choice and control people want, the affordability they need, and the quality they deserve in healthcare.

On Saturday, President Trump participated in the commissioning of the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier in Norfolk, Virginia. The USS Ford is the world's most advanced aircraft carrier and is a great asset to the US Navy, further cementing our position as the most powerful Navy in the world.

President Trump Welcomes USS Arizona Survivors to the White House
On Friday, President Trump met with several living survivors of the USS Arizona Pearl Harbor attack and their families in the Oval Office. Some of these survivors came to visit Washington D.C. for the first time to pay tribute and respect to those honored at the Arlington National Cemetery, and the World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Memorials.

POTUS and VP TODAY

Today, President Trump and Vice President Pence welcome victims of Obamacare to the White House for a listening session. Later, the President will travel to West Virginia to attend the 2017 National Scout Jamboree.

Coming Up This Week

This week is American Heroes Week, dedicated to those who put their own lives on the line to protect American lives every day. On Tuesday, the President will deliver a very special Salute to American Heroes in Struthers, Ohio. On Wednesday, President Trump will take part in an American Legion event at the White House. On Thursday, President Trump will welcome the brave first responders from Alexandria, Virginia to the White House. On Friday, the President will travel to New York to meet with NYPD members in Long Island.
